Turkish-backed ground forces and coalition airstrikes have killed 12 Daesh terrorists in northern Syria, Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) said Tuesday.
In a statement, the general staff revealed that it hit 57 Daesh targets along with one target of the PKK-affiliated Democratic Union Party (PYD) on Monday, including defensive positions and mortars, as part of the ongoing Operation Euphrates Shield in northern Syria.
Seven Syrian opposition fighters were also wounded during the clashes. Operation Euphrates Shield was launched in late August to clear Syria's northern border of terrorists.
