Turkey's Interior Ministry announced in a statement released on Monday that a total of 18 terrorists have been killed in anti-terror operations carried out from February 20-27 against terrorist groups.
The release said that six terrorists, including two wounded, had been caught by security forces during the same period, while a total of 12 terrorists surrendered.
26 shelters, located across eight eastern and southeastern provinces, used by PKK terrorists were also destroyed during the operations.
Security forces seized 17 trapped improvised explosive devices, as well as raw material needed to build such devices and a large amount of ammunition.
32 suspects were taken into custody on charges of aiding the PKK terror group during their operations.
A total of 66 other suspects were arrested for alleged links to the Daesh terror group, while 48 out of 855 suspects held in operations against the Gülenist terror group (FETÖ) were detained, the statement also noted.
