“We will not be satisfied if any member of the Assad administration is involved in the next phase, because there is blood on their hands,” said Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu.

"We will not be satisfied if any member of the Assad administration is involved in the next phase, because there is blood on their hands" said Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu.

Davutoğlu, on his single-day work excursion that materialized in Jordan, visited the Building Ministry in the capital of Amman where he came together with his counterpart Nasser Judeh.

Following their meeting at an organized press conference, Davutoğlu stated that those who were in office as party to the Assad administration would not be able to participate in the forthcoming phase. He went on to state, "We will not be satisfied if any member of the Assad administration is involved in the next phase, because there is blood on their hands."

Davutoğlu also went on to commend on the Jordanian King Abdullah's trip that transpired in March, by stating that President Abdullah Gül and King Abdullah spoke on the topic of Syria, and reached a "cooperation and assistance" agreement during this visit.

Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh let it be known that during their meeting they (he and Davutoğlu) spoke about reaching a political solution to the Syria issue. Judeh also remarked that Russia should play a key role in assisting with establishing stability and the formation of a "transitional government".
