Three Muslim teens of Chad and Sudanese decent were found murdered in Fort Wayne, Indiana on Wednesday, they were shot 'execution' style according to police investigations.
The Fort Wayne Police Department stated they have found the bodies of Mohamedtaha Omar, 23, Adam K. Mekki, 20, and Muhannad A. Tairab, 17, inside an abandoned house last Wednesday. The young men were each shot multiple times 'execution' style according to police.
Police have stated that they do not believe that the murders were done in connection with the suspects nationality or religion.
However, amidst a growing wave of anti-Muslim sentiment in the U.S., including numerous acts of violence directed against Muslim Americans, the possibility the murders were a hate crime remains open.
