Turkey condemns terrorist attacks in Egypt's Sinai

Turkey on Wednesday condemned the attacks on the Egyptian military in northern Sinai that killed at least 70 Egyptian soldiers.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: "We are deeply sorry that a large number of people died. May Allah rest the souls of the victims and we offer condolences to their families. We wish the wounded people a quick recovery as well."
On Wednesday, at least 70 soldiers were killed Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS)-affiliated militants unleashed a wave of simultaneous attacks, including suicide car bombings, on Egyptian army checkpoints in the restive northern Sinai Peninsula, killing at least 70 soldiers and 38 ISIS-affiliated militants.
