Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu's visit to Netherlands has been postponed to Wednesday.
The premier was supposed to leave for the Netherlands late Tuesday but the Prime Ministry sources said that Davutoğlu will fly to Dutch city Rotterdam on Wednesday upon invitation from the European Union term president Netherlands.
He is scheduled to have talks on the progress of the accession talks between Turkey and the European bloc, namely with regards to visa-free travel to Europe for Turks.
On Jan. 25 and 26, three high-ranking European officials -- High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini, Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn and European Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management Christos Stylianides -- also visited Ankara for Turkey-EU ministerial political dialogue meeting.
