South African model Candice Swanepoel, best known for her work with fashion titan Victoria's Secret, will strut down the catwalk in Istanbul at the famous Dossa Dossi Fashion Show. The event will be held Dec. 16-21, and Swanepoel will be the headline model on Dec. 17.
For many years the Dosso Dossi Fashion Show has been bringing the industry's marquee talents to Turkey and putting them on the runway. This year, it will feature Swanepoel, who is a South African model of Dutch ancestry and world-renowned for her work as a Victoria's Secret Angel.
At age 15, Swanepoel was spotted by a model scout in a Durban flea market. The now 27-years-old model made herself a household name in 2013 by sporting Victoria Secret's most luxurious product, the $10 million Fantasy Bra. She will be on the catwalk for the first time in Turkey, wearing special dresses designed by four different luxury fashion brands.
