As the investigation on the bloody terror attack in October in Ankara continues, police have revealed that the instigator of the attack, Yunus Durmaz had plans of other attacks in 26 spots across the country by the terrorist group Daesh saved on his laptop.

In a police raid on Durmaz's depot, six kalashnikovs, 22 grenades, a gun with a silencer, 1,600 bullets and many detonators along with the Daesh terrorist organization's plans and a laptop were discovered.

Code named 'Ebu Ali', Durmaz had saved many notes on his laptop including plans of other suicide attacks on 26 spots in 19 cities across Turkey, including İstanbul, İzmir and Antalya.

The Ankara Public Prosecutor's Office had confirmed in October that one of the suicide bombers in the terror attack was Deash-linked Yunus Emre Alagöz who was also the brother of Şeyh Abdurrahman Alagöz, the suicide bomber who carried out the deadly Suruç bombing that killed 33 people and wounded more than 100 on July 20.

The second suicide bomber was confirmed by Turkish authorities on January 10, and was identified by his initials E.U., a Syrian national.

The suicide bombings – the deadliest attack in modern Turkish history – were set off by two suspected suicide attackers in a crowd of leftist, pro-Kurdish and union activists at a peace rally. The attacks near Ankara's main train station left the bodies of dead demonstrators strewn across the ground.
