Kenya said on Saturday that it gave the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) three months to move Somali refugees from the northeastern Dadaab camp to a location inside Somalia. Deputy President William Ruto said the government had asked the UNHCR to move more than 600,000 Somalia refugees from Kenya to another location in Somalia. "We have asked the UNHCR to relocate the refugees in three months," Ruto said, noting that the Kenyan government would have to move the refugees itself if the UN agency failed to comply.
