PITTSBURGH — One very lucky man in Pennsylvania came face to face with death on Monday, as a chainsaw slipped from his grasp and became lodged in his neck just nearly a centimeter away from his carotid artery.
After being rushed to the hospital, surgeons made heroic work taking the man into an hour long surgery and giving him around 30 stitches.
Just a day after the surgery, Valentine was in stable condition. His recovery was miraculous as reporters from CNN spoke with his sister on Tuesday she said, "He looks more like himself, he's walking and talking today."
