An employee at the Pentagon tried to view porn at the workplace more than 12,000 times last summer, according to an internal investigation, claimed the Washington Times on 6 January.
"The employee, whose name was redacted in a report released by agency officials, told investigators he tried to access the sites at work because he didn't have a personal computer," the Washington Times said.
The employee's computer at the Pentagon blocked "hundred of attempts" to access pornography, the daily said, in line with the investigation, which it was able to access through a Freedom of Information Act request.
The fate of the employee remains unclear for now, according to the news report.
