A U.S. official said late Monday that a soldier in Hawaii has been arrested on suspicion of terrorism charges.
The soldier was arrested over his alleged connections to the Daesh terrorist group, the Associated Press cited the official as saying.
Ikaika Erik Kang, originally from the island state, was arrested on Saturday evening by FBI special agents and SWAT teams at his home.
