Turkey's largest botanical garden to open in Ankara

A botanical garden that will be home to 12,000 species of plants and trees will open in Ankara next year, Food and Agriculture Minister Mehdi Eker announced yesterday. Eker touted the garden as the biggest in Turkey with an area of 2,500 acres.
