Fazıl Say has been listed as a composer in residence in one of the world’s most important music festivals, the ‘Oxford Chamber Music Festival'.
Held in England between September 27th and October 1st, the Oxford Chamber Music Festival will hold a series of six concerts held over four days in which Say will participate as both composer and soloist.
The festival, which is held in a variety of halls located at Oxford University, will showcase all of the musician's chamber music compositions. The festival's general arts director is worldwide famous violin virtuoso Priya Mitchell. During the festival, Fazıl Say's violin concerto entitled '1,001 Nights in the Harem' will also be performed.
