These two online 'dictionaries,' which are actually Turkey's biggest online communities, have been voting on the Internet Movie Database IMDB, to place Celal and Ceren at the top of the worst film list. As a result, Celal and Ceren has now made IMDB's 'Bottom 100' list. While yesterday the film was in 20th place, the at times vulgar comedian Şahan Gökbakar's Celal and Ceren has now taken the top three spot in a list of year's worst 100 films.
Günaydın writer Mevlüt Tezel warned Şahan on Twitter of this happening which was widely shared on the web.
Tezel revisited the subject today, in which he comments on the methods used by the social networks to bring Şahan's film down including voting positively for films that are listed as worse than Celal and Ceren.
