Scarlett Johansson's new movie Under the Skin is in the 13th !f Independent Film Festival
The 13th !f Independent Film Festival is set to host this year with a very special movie. Starring famous actress Scarlett Johansson, Under the Skin is going to be on the festival program. Directed by Jonathan Glazer, best known for his video clips for Radiohead and Massive attack and movies Sexy Beast and Birth, Under the Skin tells the story of an alien disguised as an attractive woman with the motive to hunt men. The alien selects hitchhikers from the highway based on certain characteristics and destroys them.
Adapted from Michel Faber's book with the same name, the film raises the question, "Under the human skin, how are things different from animals?" Shot in the frozen and quiet atmosphere of North Scotland, Under the Skin offers a special experience to its audience. Screenings will commence in Istanbul on February 13. The festival will move on to Ankara and Izmir on February 27. Pre-sale for the tickets will start on January 31.
