"Museums Talk: From Germany," a program by Istanbul Modern which creates a new communication platform and information-sharing network in the field of museology through bringing together museum curators and directors worldwide, is continuing in cooperation with the Goethe-Institut Istanbul. Inka Drögemüller will share her experiences on behalf of Schirn Kunsthalle and Stadel Museum in Frankfurt as part of the "Museums Talk" series. The speech by Inka Drögemüller, who will be a guest of Istanbul Modern tomorrow, focuses on the subject of "museums and their spectators."
Drögemüller, who is the International Relationship President of Stadel Museum and Vice Director of Schirn Kunsthalle, will talk about the different approaches that are embraced by institutions that she works with while they communicate with the masses in her speech. It will be about both special experiences in the field and the spreading of museums to the digital medium.
About Inka Drögemüller
Having received her education at the Communication Department of the University of the Arts in Berlin, Drögemüller worked as a gallerist and consultant in Berlin and New York. She was tasked with the development of the marketing and sponsorship department in Schirn Kunsthalle in Frankfurt in 2001. She has also been responsible for collaborations on international exhibitions within the body of Stadel Museum, Schirn Kunsthalle and Liebieghaus Skulpturensammlung since 2006. Being the vice director of Schirn Kunsthalle, Drögemüller coordinates the content cooperations of Stadel Museum with various companies and research institutions within the frame of digital applications, such as modern art lessons that are given online with Stadel Digital Collection or the Leuphana University in Lunenburg.
