On Tuesday, a special staging of the play "Gog," produced by Tiyatral Sanat Akademisi (Theatrical Arts Academy), took place at Zorlu Performance Arts Center. Adapted from the novel by Italian writer and poet Giovanni Papini, the play was watched by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's son Bilal Erdoğan and his wife, Reyyan Erdoğan, and accomplished figures in media and art circles.

The play was adapted by Betül Odabaşı Törk and directed by Zuhal Öztürk. The artistic directors were Mustafa Odabaşı and Fatih Kılıç. The play featured talented actors and actresses such as Abdül Süsler, Murat Ceylan, Ozan Ceylan, Çisel Kuşkan, İbrahim Tül, Cumhur Arat, Tolga Öz, Kemalettin Caymaz, Orhan Uzun, Fatih Boyalı, Halil İbrahim Babur, Merve Gizem Seçgin, Ekin Ulaş and Özlem Şahin.

The two-act play's costumes were designed by Reyyan Erdoğan, the music was by Can Atilla, and the lighting was by Fatih Kılıç.

The drama is about Gog, a depressed middle-aged rich man lost in worry. Gog hates everyone but himself. To relieve his boredom, he decides to spend all his money, and he witnesses himself, his search, his acquaintances and his confrontation with himself, enabling him to ask questions about the truth behind happiness.
