Levent Yavuz started his art life with the belief that human beings are an indispensable part of photos.
Staying true to his early conviction, Levent Yavuz is hosting a photography exhibition at Zorlu Perfomring Art Center (PSM) where people can enjoy his works that focus on faces that have been traditionalized from the past of Anatolia and inherited from the Turks.
Curated by director, producer, writer and artist Canol Balkaya, the Levent Yavuz Photography Exhibition can be visited free of charge at the Zorlu PSM B3 Foyer Area until Oct. 4.
Yavuz makes his spectators connect with the images through feelings, using natural light and realistic colors in his works on human-place and human-action issues. He manages to turn traditional formations into art without drifting away from authenticity with a modern creativity. Opening his first solo exhibition in 2013, the artist has been continuing his art life with his works comprising of portrait photos for 40 years.
