Turkey’s automotive sales increase 38 percent in July

Combined sales of cars and light commercial vehicles grew by 38 percent in July 2015 from a year earlier, the Automotive Distributors Association said on Wednesday.
Car sales numbered 64,218, and light commercial vehicles were at 19,618, an increase of more than 47 percent. Total Turkish sales were at 83,836 in July, according to the report from the association.
Combined sales of automobiles and light commercial vehicles were at 59,907 in July last year.
Turkish vehicle sales have been on the rise since the start of the year, with combined sales in the first seven months of the year up 49 percent to 516,386 from 346,768 in same period of last year.
