Turkey squad for EuroBasket 2015 announced

The Turkish national basketball team's 20-man squad for EuroBasket 2015 has been announced. The squad was revealed during a meeting at Abdi İpekçi Sports Hall on Tuesday. Turkey will be competing in the tournament without Oklahoma City Thunder center Enes Kanter. Turkey's EuroBasket 2015 team is as follows: Birkan Batuk, Cedi Osman, Doğuş Balbay, Furkan Korkmaz, Emircan Koşut (Anadolu Efes), Can Maxim Mutaf (Banvit), Göksenin Köksal (Darüşşafaka Doğuş), Kartal Özmizrak (NSK Eskişehir Basket), Oğuz Savaş, Semih Erden, Melih Mahmutoğlu, Kenan Sipahi (Fenerbahçe Ülker), Sinan Güler (Galatasaray Liv Hospital), Barış Hersek, Bobby Dixon, Akif Egemen Güven (Pınar Karşıyaka), Samet Geyik (TOFAŞ), Ersan İlyasova (Detroit Pistons), Ömer Aşık (New Orleans Pelicans), Furkan Aldemir (Philadelphia 76ers). The tournament will be held in France, Croatia, Germany and Latvia between Sept. 4 and Sept. 20. Turkey will play against Iceland, Spain, Serbia, Italy and Germany in Group B.
