Some of the biggest stars in the Spor Toto Basketball League took part in the celebrations of Book Gift Day last week.
Organized by the Book for Everyone Foundation on April 17 for the first time, the BSL joined forces with its clubs to share the book "Adanmak," which tells the story of Turkish basketball legend Yalçın Granit. Born in 1932, Granit made major contributions to the development of basketball in Turkey as a player, coach, manager, and author.
With the support of Can Publishing, BSL Director Samer Şenbayrak sent 32 copies of the book to players across the league last week. The first was a gift to the player from the BSL, while the second copy would be the player's gift to a lucky reader. Galatasaray Odeabank guard Sinan Güler, Pınar Karşıyaka guard Kenan Sipahi, Darüşşafaka Doğuş guard Mehmet Yağmur, and Banvit forward Adrien Moerman were among the players that joined the campaign.
