Turkey's energy bill this year will exceed $50 billion if oil prices remain at current levels, Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek said on Friday.
He also said in a speech in Ankara that Turkey's current account deficit was a structural problem. The current account deficit, which has widened sharply, is a major weak point in the Turkish economy.
