Operating out of Germany, Pınar Foods GmbH has realized a first, by becoming Turkey's first milk brand to sell to the European Union.
The Pınar brand milk is now being sold in one liter packages on shelves in Germany, England, France, Belgium, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland, Austria and Greece.
Yaşar Holding Chairman İdil Yiğitbaşı explains that they have been active in Europe for 32 years bow and that their Pınar-brand items are especially favored by Turks. Yiğitbaşı says, "We also sell a Pınar cheese line and Şölen meat products in the EU. Our EU turnover for 2011 alone was 66.8 million euros."
