Turkish Airlines carried 26 percent more passengers

The number of passengers that THY carried in the first half of 2013 showed an increase of 26 percent when compared to same term in the previous year.

The number of passengers that THY carried in the first half of 2013 showed an increase of 26 percent when compared to same term in the previous year.
The Public Disclosure Platform of Turkey released the air traffic data of Turkish Airlines for January-June, 2013.
The number of passengers that THY carried, which had been 17.8 million between January and June of 2012, rose by 26 percent to 22.4 million for the same period in 2013.
The number of passengers in international lines rose by 28 percent, while an increase of 23 percent was recorded in domestic lines.
The occupancy rate also increased by 3.4 percent to 78.9 percent within the mentioned period.
