According to an announcement from the Capital Market Board, Bank Asya affiliated Asya Varlık Kiralama's issue of sukuk (Islamic bonds) valued at TL 140 million wasn't allowed. The board stated the blocked trading of Bank Asya shares in the stock market and uncertainty about the bank's partnership structure and administration were the reasons.
