Turkey's Saving Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) has seized the Turkey branch of GNC's (General Nutrition Center), a US based enterprise focused on health and nutrition related products, according to Turkish daily Milliyet.
According to Milliyet's interview with a TMSF representative, TMSF has seized GNC Turkey due to debts of Bayındır Holding's boss, Kamuran Çörtük.
The TMSF representative also told the Turkish daily that they assigned five new board members to GNC Turkey's administrative board.
