Istanbul is scheduled to host the "Design from Spain in Turkey" event from December 10-12, bringing together the best design firms of Turkey and Spain. The event is jointly organized by the Spain Trade and Investment Agency (ICEX) and the Spanish Consulate in Istanbul.
"Design from Spain in Turkey", which is in its third edition, aims to give participant countries the opportunity to acquaint and cooperate with Spain's leading and award-winning firms that offer consultancy services in the fields of industrial design, product design, corporate identity design and innovative design.
Spanish companies will come to Istanbul and visit Turkish firms to hold bilateral talks with them for three days. They will make presentations on the inauguration day to be held at the Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus Hotel.
Crous Calegaro, which won the Delta Design Award in 2012 and 2014, as well as other design firms operating in industrial products, including Magma Design, Mormedi , Stimulo Design and Tiscar Design, are among the firms that will take part in the event.
Last year, the event hosted six award-winning Spanish design firms that held 82 bilateral talks with 45 Turkish firms. The event will once again host Spanish firms interested in becoming involved in joint projects with Turkish companies.
