Antalya Airport experiences record-high number of flights

With holidaymakers and tourists from all over the world flocking in and out during the summer season, Antalya Airport had a record-breaking 1,014 planes land and take off on Sunday. General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMİ) Antalya Director-in-Chief Osman Serdar told an Anadolu Agency (AA) reporter that on Aug. 8, there were an all-time high number of flights scheduled at Antalya Airport and 178,000 passengers were served. Serdar praised the airport staff, especially the baggage handlers, and acknowledged their efforts on such hot and intensely busy day.
