Turkish Airlines (THY) CEO Temel Kotil announced that they have verbally submitted their request to increase the number of Iran-bound THY flights to the Iranian Civil Aviation Authority.
Speaking to the press during the acceptance ceremony of the 300th airplane for THY's fleet, Kotil said they were now waiting for the Iranian authority's reply.
THY aims to increase the number of flights to Tehran from the current six times per day to nine times per day, as well as add an additional three flights to other Iranian cities, which are currently once or twice per day.
