Ülker to acquire United Biscuits facility in Saudi Arabia

Ülker Biskuvi has reported that the company is negotiating the acquisition of the United Biscuits facility in Saudi Arabia as well as royalties from McVities, a famous brand of United Biscuits, Middle East and North Africa. Ülker announced that it has initiated the negotiation process for the United Biscuits production facility located in Saudi Arabia and the distribution and sales rights of McVities products in the Middle East and North Africa. In 2014, Ülker's parent-company Yıldız Holding bought United Biscuits from private equity owners Blackstone Group and PAI Partners in an estimated 2 billion euro ($3.2 billion) deal, which it said made it the world's third-biggest biscuit maker.
