Beşiktaş, the leader of the Spor Toto Super League and UEFA Europa League quarter-finalists, also leads the way on the stock exchange with the highest market value in terms of shares performance. The Black Eagles have become the only club to make a profit while also rising in revenue.

Having eliminated their Greek counterparts Olympiacos in the UEFA European League, Beşiktaş qualified for the quarterfinals of the tournament. Domestically, the Black Eagles have a nine-point lead over archrival Galatasary, 11 points over Fenerbahçe and 13 points more than Trabzonspor. Beşiktaş are on top of the league, with two more points than Başakşehir, their closest opponent in the league. The club has broken new ground on the Borsa Istanbul with revenues rapidly increasing following the opening of their new Vodafone Arena stadium. Beşiktaş's shares on the stock exchange have risen by 29.5 percent since the beginning of the year. In the same period, Galatasary has depreciated by 20.56 percent, followed by Fenerbahçe with 10.92 percent and Trabzonspor with 0.35 percent.Beşİktaş outpace Fenerbahçe

Along with the rise in shares, Beşiktaş have become the leading Turkish club with the highest market value, amounting to TL 1,243 billion ($340 million). Fenerbahçe's market value is TL 982.4 million, followed by Galatasaray with TL 555.4 million. Fikret Orman, selected as the president on March 25, 2012, has been leading the club for five years now. Beşiktaş is the only club that overcame the July 3 match-fixing probe that shattered Turkish football. Shares of Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray remain at 51 percent and 78.5 percent below the level recorded on July 3, 2011, respectively, while the Black Eagles have exceeded their level during the said period by 37 percent.Restructured under new management

The Orman administration, which prioritized the fiscal structure of the football team, has marked a turning point for the club by opening the new Vodafone Arena Stadium on April 11, 2016. Achievements on the field reinforced by financial agreements pushed the club to leadership in revenue. Increasing its revenue by 40.1 percent to TL 286.4 million during a six-month period in 2016, Beşiktaş reached TL 25.1 million in net profit, becoming the only club making a profit, while Fenerbahçe, Galatasary and Trabzonspor lost TL 74.9 million, TL 153.6 million and TL 34.5 million, respectively.
