The number of registered vehicles on Turkish roads reached 22 million this October, Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) confirmed yesterday. TurkStat revealed that a total of 110,743 vehicles, both old and new, were registered In October. Around 54 percent of these vehicles were cars, while 16.4 percent was small trucks. Overall, cars accounted for 58.8 percent of the total number of vehicles, small trucks constituted 17.3 percent, motorcycles made up 12.6 percent, tractors 7.2 percent, while 4.1 percent were trucks, minibusses, and buses.
