Turkish defense contractor Aselsan said Monday it had signed agreements worth 2.46 billion euros ($2.75 billion) with the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) for the procurement of hybrid air defense systems.
In a disclosure to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), Aselsan said the deals would have a positive impact on its revenues but did not disclose a delivery schedule or further details.
On Thursday, the state-run company said it had agreed a nearly 490-million-euro agreement for the export of air defense systems.
A day later, it announced contracts totaling more than 1 billion euros with SSB as part of ongoing serial production projects for long-range air defense systems.
The SSB accounted for 30.6% of Aselsan's net sales and 37.8% of its trade receivables in its latest disclosed financial statements.
The company holds a key role in Türkiye's multilayered "Steel Dome" air defense system. Components delivered by Aselsan include early warning radars, electronic combat, defense systems and payloads.
Aselsan CEO Ahmet Akyol said Monday that ongoing serial production efforts were further strengthening the Steel Dome.
Describing Türkiye as one of the few countries capable of developing its own air defense systems, Akyol pledged to continue working "day and night" toward an independent defense industry.
Aselsan posted a 50% increase in net income in 2025 and over 70% in the first half of this year.
In August, it said it currently has an order backlog of $23.3 billion.
