(You Should Tell About Me)


Directed and written by Mahur Özmen, the drama features Gerçek Sağlar, Can Sipahi, Serap Sağlar and Aytaç Arman. At the time of the Sept. 12 coup d'etat, a young girl is struck between her dreams and the brutal face of life. An arrest warrant is issued against her father for his political views.

Unbroken


Adapted from Laura Hillenbrand's book of the same title, the American war drama is directed and produced by Angelina Jolie and stars Jack O'Connell, Domhnall Gleeson, Garrett Hedlund and Finn Wittrock. Following a serious plane crash in World War II, Olympian Louis Zamperini spends 47 days in a raft with two crewmen and he is caught by the Japanese navy and sent to a war camp.

American Sniper

Directed by two Academy Award-winner Clint Eastwood, the hotly-debated film screens the life of Chris Kyle, the most lethal sniper in U.S. military history with 160 confirmed killings. The biographical film stars Sienna Miller, Luke Grimes, Jake McDorman, Cory Hardrict, Kevin Lacz and Navid Negahban. American Sniper has been nominated for six Oscars, including best picture and best actor for Bradley Cooper's role as Chris Kyle.

Into the Woods

The American musical fantasy film is directed by Rob Marshall and stars Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, James Corden and Anna Kendrick. Inspired from the Grimm Brothers' fairy tales, the movie is a fantasy genre crossover adapted from a Broadway musical of the same title. Into the Woods is an Oscar nominee for Costume Design, Production Design. Meryl Streep has been nominated to Oscars in the category of Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of a witch in the film.

Mommy

Starring Anne Dorval, Antoine Olivier Pilon, Suzanne Clement and Patrick Huard, Mommy is directed by Canadian Xaiver Dolan, the winner of the Jury Prize at the 67th Cannes Film Festival. Mommy is the fifth feature-length film of the young director and deals with the story of a widowed mother, who raises her violent son alone. Dolan's newest film might attrack more interest than his 2009 drama "I Killed My Mother."

Life Itself

Directed by Steve James, known for his award-winning documentaries "Hoop Dreams" and "The Interrupters," Life Itself is an American biographical documentary film premiered at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival. Viewers will take a journey into the life of a legendary film critic and social commentator Roger Ebert.

The Imitation Game

Starring British actor Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley, "The Imitation Game" is directed by Norwegian director Morten Tyldum. Adapted from a true story, the film focuses on the story of British mathematician Alan Turing who tried to solve the German encryption named "Enigma" during World War II. While he does everything he can to solve Enigma and defeat the Germans, Turing also endures social pressure because he is homosexual. The film is nominated for eight Academy Awards including "Best Motion Picture of the Year."
