Turkey has expressed its condolences on Friday to the families of the seven victims of a helicopter crash in Pakistan.
Philippine Ambassador Domingo D. Lucenario Jr. and Norway's envoy Leif Larsen were among those killed when a Pakistan military helicopter carrying diplomats and their families to a resort in the Gilgit-Baltistan region in northeast Pakistan developed technical trouble.
The wives of the Indonesian and Malaysian ambassadors and three Pakistani military members were also killed.
"We wish God's mercy on those who lost their lives, convey our sympathies to their families and wish for the speedy recovery of the wounded," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The Dutch, South African, Malaysian, Indonesian, Australian and Polish ambassadors were among those injured in Friday's crash.
