ISTANBUL —Yesterday, a tender was organized for the sale of BMC, one of the largest defense industry enterprises in Turkey. BMC was nationalized last year by the Turkish government when it fell into debt. The tender started with a bid of TL 540 million and the highest offer was TL 725 million from ES Investment Inc. The final decision will be announced by the Commission on Privatization on Friday.
