The Istanbul Finance Summit, hosting representatives from the community of the international economy, will be held from Sept. 15 to Sept. 16. During the summit, topics such as risk capital funds, investment banking, angel investing, innovative ways for development-infrastructure financing and capital market-innovation will be discussed in detail by leading figures of the global finance sector.
Local and international representatives of the finance sector will make various presentations at the summit, which Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey Ali Babacan and Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek are expected to attend. Last year, 64 speakers from 15 countries and over 1,000 guests from 50 countries participated in the activity.
The summit is anticipated to host many prominent international figures such as ABD NASDAQ OMX Group Vice President Sandy Meyer Frucher, Khazanah Nasional Berhad Finance Group Director, the Bank for International Settlements, Claudio Borio and Executive Director of International Investment Bank B.S.C.Aabed Al Zeera.
