Turkey's Labor Minister Faruk Çelik announced minimum wage increase rate for 2015 on Sunday. Net monthly minimum wage was increased from TL 891 to TL 949 ($410) for the first half of 2015, which would later be increased to TL 1000 ($432) for the second half of the year.
The increase rate was announced as 6 + 6 percent. Gross minimum wage was announced as TL 1202 for the first half of 2015, which would later be increased to TL 1274.
