A Turkish citizen was wounded in a xenophobic attack late Monday in Northern France, local sources reported. The Turkish citizen was attacked "in response to Paris terror attacks", the French media said.

After the attack, the member of the xenophobic group who shot the Turkish citizen committed suicide. Upon being shot, the victim was immediately hospitalized and is reportedly in stable health condition.

France has been hit by one of its worst attacks since World War II as the DAESH terrorist organization killed at least 129 people and wounded over 350, putting 99 in serious condition in Friday's attacks on a stadium, a concert hall and cafes in Paris.

According to French authorities, 103 bodies were identified from the attacks and around 30 still await identification. In the wake of the deadly attacks, France declared a state of emergency and three- days of national mourning.
