British Prime Minister Theresa May's deputy, Damian Green, has resigned, Downing Street said late Wednesday.
The official resigned over allegations of pornography found on his office computer, the Associated Press reported.
May said in a letter to Green that she had asked him to resign.
"It is therefore with deep regret, and enduring gratitude for the contribution you have made over many years, that I asked you to resign from the government and have accepted your resignation," May wrote in a letter addressed to Green, the First Secretary of State.
