Organized by the Embassy of Japan in Turkey, the Japan Foundation and the Goethe-Institut Ankara, the 11th Ankara Japanese Film Festival will take place for a third year at the Goethe-Institut's Ankara center. The festival will kick off with "Miyori in the Sacred forest," a collection of anime films highlighting environmental issues in Japan. "The Voices of a Distant Star," "Always: Sunset on the Third Street" and "Like Father, Like Son" are other films that anime lovers can enjoy at the festival.
Entrance to the festival is free and all films are in Japanese with Turkish and English subtitles, except "Like Father, Like Son," which is subtitled only in Turkish.
