Anelectronic dance vocalist from Romania, Inna's debut single "Hot" immediately became a European smash hit in 2009. Born in 1986 in Mangalia, Romania as Elena Alexandra Apostoleanau, she is affiliated with the Romanian production trio Play & Win, who have an impressive record of commercial success as club music makers.
"Hot" was released internationally in 2009 after it topped Romania's singles chart in 2008. Although mostly successful in Eastern Europe, Inna also became popular in some western countries, reaching No.1 in Spain last July and No. 5 in The Netherlands last September. Her fulllength album released in 2009 was produced by Play&Win and includes the follow-up singles "Love," "Amazing" and "Déjà vu."
