Salon İKSV pays tributes to Chet Baker

ISTANBUL — For World Jazz Day on April 30, prominent musicians from Istanbul will pay tribute to legends of jazz. The tribute nights started back in 2011 and honors valuable musicians such as Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and Nina Simone. In 2012, Salon IKSV also paid tribute to Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra and Antonio Carlos Jobim. The fourth year of the series began with Miles Davis and Louis Armstrong and now continues with a jazz session for the legendary Chet Baker who passed away in 1988.
