The Foundation of Yıldız Palace and Yıldız Palace Museum will organize an exhibition called Cülus Armağanları (The Accession Gifts) at the Kaskat Mansion on Sept. 17. The foundation said that the exhibition showcases 18 precious gifts presented by various empires around the world to Ottoman Sultan Abdülhamid II in 1901 to celebrate his 25th year of accession. Situated in the Yıldız Palace, the Kaskat Mansion will open its doors to visitors for the first time since it underwent restoration that was completed a few years ago. Creating a fairy tale atmosphere, the exhibition will tell the background stories of the accession gifts until Oct. 17.
