Known as the Istanbul neighborhood where the Westernization movement kicked off toward the end of the 19th century, Moda is ready to host a street festival organized by FunOrg. The Moda Festival will take place at Moda Park and other iconic places in the area from Sept. 19 to Sept. 21. The festival will host sports and different shopping events. One of the goals of the festival is to spread the beauty and peace of Moda to the whole city. The event, which is planned to as an annual festival, will welcome both local and foreign jazz and classical music bands.
The organizers of the festival are hoping to evoke some of the old memories from the good old days at the open air theater. There will be stands where professional and amateur artists can show off their skills. Food stands and secondhand clothing will be available to attract locals. Within the scope of the events, Turkey's important caricaturists and authors will come together with their fans for autograph sessions. Those privileged enough to get to the Moda Festival early will start the morning with experienced trainers from the Club Sporium, enjoy and relax with tranquil music, meet with their favorite authors and watch films at the open air theater with their loved ones.
When: Between Sept. 19 and Sept. 21
