The camera used in Turkey's first-ever TV broadcast, the 70-year-old microphone of Turkey's first university-based radio, its first super-computer and tens of other historical objects will be exhibited with the flower designs of Yunus Karma. Istanbul Technical University (İTÜ), one of the oldest technical universities in the world with its 242 years of history, is ready to host a unique exhibition where historical equipment meet with floral prints. Following rigorous work over the last year, nearly 200 goods were collected from the various faculties of İTÜ. Among these pieces, 100 historical objects and pieces of equipment will be displayed with floral prints at the Floral Print with Old Objects from İTÜ exhibition as of today. An old telephone center, which gained a new identity with the flower print, the camera used at İTÜ TV, which made the first TV broadcast in Turkey, the microphone that was used in Turkey's first university radio station, İTÜ Radio, 70 years ago, the first super computer built by İTÜ and many other historical objects will be showcased at the exhibition. The flower designs were installed by designer Yunus Karma, one of the most important representatives of floral prints.
