An unforgettable night is waiting for those who want to treat themselves with Russian folk music. Founded in 1988 by musician Vasily Vasilievich Andreyev, the St. Petersburg Andreyevsky State Orchestra keeps traditional instruments of Russian music alive in their performances. Featuring the balalaika, domra and harp, the orchestra continues to receive critical acclaim from all around the world. The original orchestra experienced hard times during World War I. When it began to lose some of its members due to monetary problems, Nicholas II of Russia offered financial support. Later, it was pronounced as a state orchestra. Under the baton of Dimitriy Hovlov, the St. Petersburg Andreyevsky State Orchestra will perform at Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall (CRR) on May 14.When: Thursday
