Summer brings color for children

Creativity Workshops, which will be held at Istanbul Rahmi M. Koç Museum, Pera Museum and Ankara Rahmi M. Koç Museum, will enable children and young people to create colorful designs and help them have an art-filled summer holiday.

My Tiny Little Fingers

All the magic in the world will be revealed through the fingers of children this weekend. The outstanding colors of the Golden Horn will come to life through the fingers of children. Those who want to attend the workshop at Rahmi M. Koç Museum can purchase tickets via www.biletix.com. Tickets cost TL 35 ($13) and the workshop is for children between the ages of four and six.

When: July 11, 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.


Mini-Vase

As a part of the "Grayson Perry: Small Differences" exhibition at Pera Museum, a mini vase workshop will be held for participants over the age of 15. The workshop will allow participants to create memorabilia using underglaze paint on ceramic vases. After illustrations are applied to biscuit vases, they are glazed and kiln-fired. Their works will be given to participants a few days after the workshop. Tickets cost TL 50 for each participant and the workshop is for people over the age of 15. There is also a 50 percent discount for participations with PERAkart family.

Colors and Designs

Inspired by the black and white photos featured in the "Cecil Beaton, Portraits" exhibition, participants will color the clothes in these photographs and add new motifs and designs to them. Tickets cost TL 45 for each participant and the workshop is for children between the ages of four and six. There is also a 50 percent discount for participations with PERAkart family.

When: July 12, 12:20 p.m. to 2:20 p.m.


The Fashion Collage

In this workshop, which is organized as a part of the "Cecil Beaton, The Portraits" exhibition at Pera Museum, children are introduced to the concept of fashion design. They will design drawings of figures, color, texture and pattern with collages. Tickets cost TL 45 for each participant and the workshop is for children between the ages of seven and 14. There is also a 50 percent discount for participations with PERAkart family.
