In collaboration with the My Art Gallery, the exhibition "Denizden Babam Çıksa Heykelini Yaparım" (I can make a sculpture of anything that comes out of the sea, even my father) will run until Aug. 13 at Bodrum Yalıkavak Palmarina.
Having started on Aug. 3, the exhibition is inspired by many different marine concepts by an artist who loves fish and sea as much as he loves his father. Bihrat Mavitan honors his father at this exhibition and tries to say that the sea has much to offer sculptors.
His sculptures reflect many concepts including mermaids, the skyline, fish bones, sea bream, red mullet and stern, just to name a few.
